Thomas E. Dole

Tom Dole is a lifelong resident of the City of Freeport. He has always worked in the construction field. He began with the Street Department in 1982, operating the street sweeper. In 1984, Dole then began working with the construction crew. In 1995, Dole was promoted to Operations Manager at the Water & Sewer Commission.

In 2000, Dole was appointed Assistant Street Superintendent under then Superintendent Dan Foots. Upon Dan’s retirement in 2001, Dole was appointed Street Superintendent. Mayor Gaulrapp appointed Tom Dole as Interim Public Works Director in August 2009.
