Ronnie is a life-long resident of the City of Freeport and graduated as a mighty "Pretzel" in 1971. Ronnie worked for 34 years at Titan Tire-Kelly Springfield Tire Company until his retirement in 2007. He is a graduate of the inaugural class Highland Community College Leadership Institute. Ronnie has a son and a daughter and is the proud grandparent of three grandchildren.
There are many community organizations that Ronnie supports especially the Freeport/Stephenson County Boys and Girls Club and Diabetes Awareness efforts. He has for many years worked diligently to help develop the youth in our community. He coaches basketball at the Boys and Girls Club and football at the 8th grade level at Freeport Junior High School . You may also have seen Ronnie's smiling face on ads for FHN, where he works full-time at the Burchard Hills facility.
Ronnie is working to improve the communication of the 3rd Ward, encourages participation in the Neighborhood Watch Program, working to develop schedules for litter pick-ups by area residents, and looking for ways to unite the City of Freeport .
